👋 Welcome TO INTRO TO SKIN! My name is Trish, and I’m thrilled to be your guide in this Intro to Skincare course! I am a Medical Aesthetician, skincare specialist and beauty educator with 20+ years of experience in the skincare and beauty industry. My passion is helping people understand their skin, build confidence, and create effective skincare routines that truly work for themselves and others. Throughout my career, I have worked with a company to help build a franchise of Med Spa’s, Managed staff and clinics and have been teaching Medical Aesthetics for 6 years. I have helped clients of all skin types achieve their skincare goals. I specialize in Medical Aesthetics incl but not limited to IPL, Chemical Peels, Microneedling and Skin Tightening, and stay up to date with the latest skincare science and trends. In this course, my goal is to simplify skincare, so you can learn how to care for your skin with confidence. Whether you're a beginner, just looking to refine your routine, someone wanting to brush up on basics of skin or just wanting to explore an interest, I’m here to make skincare fun, easy, and effective for you! 💡 Let’s get started on your skincare journey!

What skincare products do I need for this course?

You’ll need basic skincare essentials like a cleanser, moisturizer, sunscreen, and an exfoliant. A toner and serum are optional but recommended.

Can I take this course if I have sensitive skin?

Absolutely! We’ll cover gentle skincare routines and ingredients that work best for sensitive skin.

Will I learn about professional treatments?

This course focuses an introduction to professional treatments like facials, chemical peels, dermaplaning and microdermabrasion.

Is natural or organic skincare better than regular products?

We’ll discuss the pros and cons of natural, organic, and Medica Grade skincare products so you can make informed choices based on your skin’s needs.

Skincare Kit – Including: Gentle cleanser Toner (optional) Moisturizer Sunscreen (SPF 30+) Exfoliant (AHAs/BHAs) Face mask (hydrating or clay-based)
Magnifying Mirror – For skin analysis practice
Headband or Hair Tie – To keep hair away during skincare demonstrations
For In-Person Classes: Skincare products for hands-on practice Access to a sink or facial steamer (if applicable) Clean towels & disposable applicators
